For those of you who have updated the latest DJI firmware, you now have the ability to take Panoramic shots. And it really couldn’t be any easier. Simply pick Photo Mode, select Pano and choose between one of the four modes.

App Version: 4.1.10
You will also need to make sure that you also have the most up-to-date Go4 App.
Here is an example of the first test.
The modes are; Horizontal, Vertical, 180 and sphere. Simply pick your shot, select your mode and press the Shutter button. And off it goes, turning and gimbling to take the pics. Once done, simply click on the view photo arrow and the app stitches the images. Painless.
Not sure why DJI placed the Panoramic shot mode under Photo and not in the Intelligent Mode screen. It is clearly an intelligent mode as it controls the drone in its action, without human intervention. I mention this as I fell into this trap as at first I couldn’t find it. So, after ‘Googling’ it, I discovered why I could’t find it. So, I am saving all of you from making the same mistake.
Also, important thing to note, is that when you are done to take it OUT of panoramic mode and back to single shot. Otherwise the next time you go to take a pic it will do another pano shot and you will most likely miss the shot you wanted. I am saying this from experience. Again, this is why it should be with the other intelligent modes.
