Do I need to register my done

Till not long ago the  FAA stated that any drone over .55 pounds must be registered. However, since about May of 2017, they have changed the requirement for registration to that being that you DO NOT need to register with the FAA if you are flying strictly for hobby purposes.  That basically means no exchange of any monies or value for your service.

It is not a bad idea to register it even if you are a hobbyist as it costs only $5 for 2years.
